Pure Japanese whiskey created using black Koji and Indica rice, Aged in ex-bourbon, oloroso sherry, and mizunara casks. Shibui Pure Malt is a 100% malted barley whisky produced in Japan from both a Japanese malt whisky and a Scottish Lowlands malt whisky. It is matured in three types of barrels: ex-bourbon, oloroso sherry and mizunara oak casks. This Japanese single-grain whisky was distilled in Okinawa at the Kumesen Distillery from premium Indica long-grain rice. The expression was matured in fino and manzanilla sherry casks, resulting in a light spirit that lets the sherry influence shine.
